Themes Emerging From Market Conversations With Founders & GTM Leaders

Hi ,
As we near the end of summer, and start looking to Q4 and EoY growth targets, I wanted to share what I’m hearing from the market about pipeline challenges
In conversations over the past few weeks with founders and GTM leaders, these are the themes that keep coming up when it comes to building pipeline in enterprise sales:
1️⃣ Top-of-funnel is stuck in first gear
Most teams have ranked account lists and clear ICPs — but turning that into a steady flow of qualified meetings still feels manual and inconsistent.
2️⃣ Multi-persona complexity is overwhelming
Enterprise deals mean 6–7 decision-makers, each with different priorities. Teams struggle to tailor messaging without burning huge amounts of time.
3️⃣ Content gaps are slowing momentum
Executives want to see thought leadership and tailored collateral, but marketing teams can’t produce enough to feed campaigns at scale.
4️⃣ SDRs aren’t the answer for $100k+ deals
For complex enterprise sales, leaders are skeptical of “spray and pray” prospecting. They want senior-level, relevant engagement — but don’t know how to scale it.
5️⃣ Personalisation vs. accuracy is a constant tension
Everyone knows relevant outreach cuts through, but they worry about control: tone, factual accuracy, and staying true to their product narrative.
👉 The overall state of play?
Teams have a lot of the strategy components in place (ICPs, personas, target lists).
What they're lacking is the capacity to execute high-quality, multi-persona campaigns without overloading their current team.
We're putting together our content schedule for the rest of the year. Which of these challenges would you most like us to cover off with a panel of experts showing you how they're solving them?
Just hit reply and let you know (even if it’s just a number from above!)

Weekly quote to ponder

This week’s featured podcast is Marketing Legend: The True Future of AI in Marketing.
AI isn’t just transforming marketing tools—it’s reshaping what strategy itself means. But here’s the insight: the future of marketing isn’t about chasing the next shiny tech trend, it’s about building systems, empathy, and resilience that keep you ahead no matter how fast things change.
In this episode, Seth Godin challenges the myths around marketing and strategy in the AI era. From why “authenticity” might be overrated, to how the real game is about long-term consistency and generosity, to what it truly takes to stand out in a world where yesterday’s “remarkable” quickly becomes average—this conversation is both a reality check and a roadmap.
If you’ve ever wondered how to adapt to AI without losing your strategic edge, what “infinite games” mean for business growth, or why focus and consistency matter more than ever, this is a must-listen.
You’ll learn how to:
Rethink strategy as a compass, not a rigid map
Play “infinite games” that build long-term resilience and trust
Balance technology with empathy and systems thinking
Avoid chasing hype and instead commit to meaningful work
Use AI as part of a bigger, human-centered strategy
If you’ve been asking what the true future of AI in marketing looks like—and how to stay relevant in it—this episode delivers clarity and actionable wisdom.
